On Sunday, April 27 at 10.00AM, we are waiting for you at Tony Frey Windsurfing Club in order to teach you “Everything You Need To Know About Windsurfing”! The seminar will illustrate how ten lessons are all that are necessary to make you a windsurfer. For the self-taught participants, we will clarify any and all questions regarding windsurfing technique. The seminar is going to be held by Tony Frey. Register now!
What are we going to learn:
– Introduction to basic windsurfing techniques (beginner’s steps/ tack/ fast tack, beginner’s jibe/ fast jibe, harness, footstraps)
– Why having the right gear is crucial for a windsurfer (when is the right moment for the transition to a small board, what are the potential risks of early transition to the next level’s gear etc.)
– Basic safety rules – both in general state and emergency situations (changing direction/ stop wind, breaking boom etc.)
Seminar held by: Tony Frey, World Champion in Freestyle and Wave, Olympic Class Windsurfing Coach, participation at the Olympic Games of “Athens 2004” and “Beijing 2008”.
