During December-January 2015 period we are waiting for you at Tony Frey’s Windsurfing Club to teach you “Everything You Need To Know About Planing Jibe”! Purpose of the seminar is to teach participants the step by step Planing Jibe technique, correct wrong techniques and answer any questions. The seminar will be held by Tony Frey, in groups of 2-6 serfers. Register now!
- What are we going to learn:
– Theory (technique will be taught so as to make it clear) and the participant will practice on a simulator ( 1 hour ).
– Why having the right gear is crucial. The seminar will take place with your own equipment to learn on it. This is also a good way to check your sail trimming, mastfoot position, harnesslines, footstraps and generally the quality of your gear! Sometimes the gear and settings are wrong, so to succeed in a maneuver, it will be harder or even impossible (it’s not always the fault of the sailor if some maneuvers don’t succeed or don’t happen easily).
– Practice in the water. Tony Frey will be with you in a boat videotaping and correcting your technique ( 2 hours ).
– Analysis of video for each sailor (1 hour ). - Seminar held by: Tony Frey, World Champion in Freestyle and Wave, Olympic Class Windsurfing Coach, participation at the Olympic Games of “Athens 2004” and “Beijing 2008”.

- Experience required: The seminar is aimed at people with experience in windsurfing as well as being self-taught. For each seminar, the participants should have already worked enough with their technique. So it’s very important, before booking a place in the seminar, to communicate with us by telephone, to assess your level and how to move onwards from there.
